Imagine, that the world we know is no longer existing and the whole humanity is forced to go under water to create the community once again. Scary, huh? Deepolis gives a chance of seeing how living beneath the surface looks like.
Bigpoint has already shown us, through Dark Orbit, life in space. We also had the opportunity, through Seafight, to sail the seas and oceans. This time, however, go into the water - it's definitely something new!

Immersion!
Like the aforementioned titles, Deepolis has a huge base of players. Every day we see thousands of users playing on a few servers. They traverse the depths in search of glory and riches of the underwater world. We think of browser games mainly as not very interesting, mostly based on text and images, but Deepolis as one of the few games of this type breaks with tradition by offering us fights in the real-time and a vast, open 2D world. Graphics is not too detailed and consists of many repetitive elements.
Registration is very quick and we’ll immediately be asked to choose one of three rival factions (Nauci, Scioni, Jafnharowie). Each of them has different experience and travels by a different kind of subs. Don’t worry if you made your decision too quickly, you will be able to change it before reaching the 5th level of experience.
I have seen it somewhere ...
After selecting the fractions we are transferred to the game’s main page. Like in Dark Orbit or Seafight, many activities, such as auctions, shopping, looking for a clan or displaying information pages are done on the site. The proper gameplay runs in the other window of your browser when you click "START" button. After a short loading we are in the middle of the ocean’s blue depths surrounded by fishlike creatures. The control is not too complicated, as we move and fight with the mouse and the spacebar is used for stopping. Apart from, moving in a horizontal position we can increase or decrease the depth level.

Underwater destruction gear
All submarines are equipped with two weapons: torpedoes and sonic missiles, each of which has four levels of ammunition. Of course, the larger the number, the more deadly it is ... And of course more expensive. New players start with fourth level torpedoes, which are often mindlessly wasted, even though they’re so priceless.
Underwater creatures, which inhabit the depths are not too demanding. Although their levels range from 5 to 15, they can be easily killed with a few cheap torpedoes. We are rewarded for defeating them with both experience points and valuable cargo. At the beginning we reach higher levels very fast, mostly thanks to the quests. Expect that you will meet many tough guys, with level over a hundred.
Stocking up...
When there’s almost nothing left in the ammunition stowage we have to go to the underwater station. As looking for it’s not the easiest think to do we can use some help in the form of an autopilot, that will lead us to the nearest station. We don’t have to be afraid of sinking when we’re around them. In these safe zones we are automatically protected against attacks, so underwater pirate is not scary to us, unless the station is owned by a opposite fraction, then run for your life.

Transactions will be carried out in two currencies. The first is the SEL, through which we will purchase the majority of basic equipment and ammunition. Helix is the currency Premium, which we buy through the cash shop, in this case called the bank. Thanks to it we can buy additional equipment. Several submarines are also reserved only for those who want to spend some money.
It’ll absorb you!
Deepolis uses the best elements of several other games and adding new ones, which makes the game attractive to thousands of users which play it every day. If you like Dark Orbit and Seafight, you'll like and Deepolis as well. Just hold your breath and let the underwater world of Deepolis absorb you.
