Khan Wars is an interesting strategy game set in medieval times. As a game based heavily on the text, Khan Wars requires from the player a certain amount of imagination and commitment necessary to devote large amounts of free time. Although the game seems to be similar to many others, what really makes it stand out from the crowd is the proper formation of your troops and the development of several buildings at the same time.
A good start
Adventure starts with choosing the nation we want to lead. The choice is huge - we have the opportunity to choose from nine (!)nations with different bonuses distinguishing them from the crowd. In addition, each has its own titles and special units. Fans of classic strategy games will be very pleased while playing Khan Wars , even in spite the fact that the gameplay is not very dynamic and after some time it starts once again from the beginning.
Going further
After selecting the server and the nation we are at the gate of an empty village. Maybe I should say "at the gate" as it will take some time until we build our first gate. As an advisor will have a monk that smiles all the time. At the beginning he’ll tell us what to build and then will serve a few simple quests to explain some basics of the game, for paying attention to what he says you will be rewarded. But back to the view of the village. Here every building has a definite place and we can’t build more structures of the same type within a castle. As in any game of this type - a player has to upgrade their buildings all the time. Fortunately, we can build up to three buildings at the same time, what greatly reduces the time needed for logging. This doesn’t mean, however, that you need to spend less time on the game. Even between regeneration of the basic materials you have to check up on your little empire.
Well - raw materials (gold, iron, food and wood) are often missing and their main source are four buildings, which should be developed. At the beginning, thanks to the aforementioned monk and his quests, we can procured several raw materials, but it’s not enough in the long run. The simplest way to obtain "free" resources is to vote for the game in various rankings, which gives us a number of small sums of cash each day. Unfortunately, if we want to have more materials, we’ll have to use the Premium currency, which we get by buying it with our real money.

It’s not so difficult
Khan Wars has a very clear, matching the medieval atmosphere interface. The game is not too complicated, we are keeping an eye on only one village and fifteen buildings to expand we had the opportunity to test more difficult strategies. Of course, it's because the game has a specific purpose - to build a military and economic power, to create a solid alliance and to fight for first place in the ranking. It may not sound too ambitious, but the monitor screens attract thousands of players.
Fight
We can fight with fifteen standard units -from infantry, archers to machines of destrustion. In addition, each nation has its own special unit. The player can choose the appropriate formation which directly affects the ends of battles. You can experiment with the battles’ simulator, but I would advise not to rely on it all the time. Besides a suitably selected formation you need luck when it comes to fighting and you can help yourself by learning proper skills. You can’t rent any heroes to help you – it is you who has to use the skills to lead your army to victory. Thanks to the development of our village and fighting we gain experience will help us to reach the next level. At every next level we obtain one point which can be used to learn more skills – and here we have a lot to choose from. There are those that will help us to fight and some that will make the development of our village much easier.

A crack in the glass
New players receive a short-term protection. While we're at zero experience no one can touch us. But if we want to raise our level the enemy can do it. But in order to help the new players at the beginning some elements of the VIP account are given. But unfortunately, if we want to have all the benefits, we have to pay with our real money for the Premium account. Those who want to pay for these pleasures do not receive any advantages over others. Such simplifications like having more space for our materials or increased loyalty of our fighting men make the game a lot easier. Moreover, you can change your user’s name, automatically complete the expansion of any building or even celebrate a religious ritual that gives certain bonuses. As you can see, the are a lot of ways to spend your money on, but how those who don’t want to do it feel? Those simply can’t think about winning. Other games are often trying to create micro payments so that Premium players do not have so large advantage – but no one tries to hide the truth that we’ll be better from others when we’ll pay.
Definitely worth a try
In the end game is worth the attention. With a few interesting solutions the start at Khan Wars is not so difficult and faster than in other games of this type. The game is pretty simple and interesting, however, the shop spoils the game as it offers paying customers such a huge advantage.
