Perfect World

Perfect World is a MMORPG set in a beautifully designed fantasy world. The game offers us an excellent, extensive character creation system with almost unlimited customization options. We can choose a large number of playable races and classes.

Classes:

• Assassin - killers are not too tough, but their quick moves can be deadly. They have the highest rate of DPS (damage per second) throughout the game. Their weakness is low hit points and weak defense.
• Barbarian - Barbarians are the main tankers in Perfect World – they absorb damage, so they’re always in the first line in the fight. They can also turn into a tiger, which greatly increases the speed of their movement. Their advantage is the high amount of HP, defense and strong area skills. Unfortunately, their attacks aren’t too accurate and they get most of the damage from magic attacks.
• Blademaster – they have access to many different skills which make them the most versatile class in the game. They have a lot of stun skills and strong area attacks, but  like the Barbarians, they are vulnerable to magic.
• Cleric – are the basis of each group, healers and buffers in one. Use powerful healing spells and some offensive ones. However, they don’t inflict such damage as others.
• Psychic - can both throw and remove buffs, as well as cast evil spells. Has also a few offensive spells, but they are not as impressive as those cast by the Wizards.
• Venomancer - are a special magical class that focuses on taming animals. They can poison their opponents and remove buffs as well. It’s the best choice, if you want to play on your own – it’s because animals can support your character. However, like other magicians they do not have too many life points available.
• Wizard - the main offensive magic class. Inflicts the greatest damage in the Perfect World, but it has a very low coefficient of HP and speed.
• Mystic - a combination of offensive and defensive magic class. They cast both offensive and healing spells. They can also summon a pet to help.
• Seeker – wields a large two-handed sword. One of the strongest offensive classes in the game. Also has access to many nature and offensive spells. 

Perfect World is a game released in 2005 in China. Three years later, under the name Perfect World International, it hit the international market. Today, it still remains one of the most powerful game on the MMORPG market. What made ​​the Perfect World so liked by players around the globe? Well, let us check!

Perfect World International, now with the addition called Genesis, is undoubtedly one of the best classics based on good practices. Various elements of the game have been borrowed from many other games of the same species, forming an almost perfect title for the whole world.

Let’s make ourselves a character

After downloading the game and patching its Chinese looking files, we’ll be overwhelmed by the number of elements changing the appearance of our character. The game allows us to actually change every characteristics of a character. We can choose between a variety of options to create an ideal of beauty or a disgusting mutant. Those more ambitious of you can even try to create your own virtual twin brother or sister. With having the right skills and a lot of free time this task is certainly feasible. So if you get annoyed seeing clones in every other game, then you will certainly appreciate the enormity of possibilities served by this system of character creation.

We also decided to take a shot and change our avatar into something more in the style of MMOparadise. And I must admit that our guy is really ugly.

The Perfect World

Despite the visible effects of the passing time, our environment still looks not so bad. It is true that in comparison to the latest games character models are a bit too angular,special effects no longer impress us and the graphics can still be like that from 3-4 years ago. Sometimes we sat down somewhere above the water, under a waterfall, in the shade of a tree and admired the nice view. I did not expect that from a game as old as this one. 

It’s worth mentioning, that one of the characteristic features of the world presented in Perfect World are ridiculously high jumps. So at first you’ll be amazed with the very high jumps performed by your characters, but don’t be afraid – you’ll get used to it. Sometimes we’ll be even flying thanks to the double jumps, but don’t panic, a fall even from a height won’t be a threat to your health.

A long journey

The game, however, is not so impressive in the terms of graphics. Nevertheless, it still provides entertainment. Fights can sometimes be a bit boring and promotion to the next levels of experience takes a lot of time. Leveling through grinding is almost impossible here – to develop our character as quick as it’s possible we have to perform quests, for which we’re rewarded with large amounts of experience points. This is obviously a huge advantage which makes the gameplay much more interesting than the monotonous killing of another army of creatures and waiting for the next respawn. Sometimes, however, the quests are poorly described. Often we do not read the dialogues and often the task log doesn’t provide us with interesting details, as a result we have no idea what to do. We have no idea to whom and where to go to start the next part of the mission. Unfortunately, we do not get any helpful tools such as directing us arrow icons or tracking the quest NPCs’, as it happens to be in the newer MMOs. The only help we get is marking important figures on the map, which is obviously some facilitation, but something more should be done about it.

The map in Perfect deserves a separate paragraph. Each site is well marked on the detailed map, which is very good by the way. The shape of the terrain was also marked, so it is very difficult to get lost. What's more, we can highlight its various locations, so if you fear that you’ll lose some interesting spots, leave traces on the map. On the map you can see what guild currently holds power in a particular part of the world, so those of you who actively participate in battles will certainly know the situation at the front.

Hunting for Players

Each of the PvP fans will be delighted with massive battles between guilds. Up to 180 players 90vs90) can participate in them at the same. Guilds can even, as already mentioned, assume control of the cities and areas of the game world. As soon as we cross the gates of the city, except for its name, we’ll see the name of the guild, which has taken control over it. Especially noteworthy are the Game Masters, who actively participate in the game. Undoubted advantage is the involvement of the team behind the creation of Perfect World, which continues to be updated and improved. New additions are uploaded regularly, so as time goes by the game is constantly evolving thanks to introducing new improvements.

Perfect World is certainly worth playing. Assuming that, you haven’t got absorbed with another game of this type. The passage of years is still visible despite the strenuous efforts of the creators.
