Seafight is a game published by Bigpoint - the company that also made Dark Orbit, Gladio 2 and Space Invasion. Like most of Bigpoint’s games - Seafight is based on an open PvP environment in which the clans are fighting for control of entire areas. New players may be discouraged with the not slow paced gameplay and limited content, but every browser game fan should already be prepared for such limitations.
Launching
The sea adventure begins with a nice amount of gold, thanks to which we can improve our boat. We buy weapons, equipment, slaves to bring boxes on board and several pirates, who will be spreading destruction on the high seas. We get gold by visiting the pub, here we receive the order. Usually it’s about going from place to place or eliminating someone inconvenient for the king. We also have another currency – pearls - which we use for buying the best ships and ammunition. The bad news is that we have to pay real money for those. At the main window we use the dockyard where we can watch our ship and buy something new, a gun shop through which we buy weapons and hiding places for our pirates. The first place to visit is the aforementioned pub, after that we start our shipping.

Anchor up!
After accepting your first assignment and starting right game, we’ll get some tips for traveling on the sea. Graphics are not the best - the sea is dotted with islands of static and immobile creatures. We move with a mouse and most quests are based on traveling from one point to another. Fortunately, new users can test the free Premium for two weeks, enter the coordinates in the appropriate field, and our pirate will do the rest. Unfortunately, it's hard to imagine this kind of task without a premium account. Another type of quests involve killing monsters or sea pirates. The fight is based on clicking on your target and firing harpoons (for monsters) or cannonballs ( for playing against other player or NPC). Weapons are available in various options, but for the most deadly ones we will have to pay with pearls.
The life of a pirate
After getting familiarized with the game players may wonder what makes the game so great. We move laboriously through the boring sea doing equal boring quests - is not so exciting. Seafight main advantage is not the quality of what we see, but fights between players. The maximum level that can be achieved in the game is 10, and each level gives you access to the next set of maps. All maps, except for the first set, are completely open to PvP, which means that the player can be attacked at any time by anyone. There’s also nothing pleasant about death - players must spend a lot of gold to bring the damaged ship to order. This makes players join a guild, as it’s their chance to survive this merciless shipping. Battles between the guilds are much more interesting than laboriously grinding our ship, cruising from point A to B, and occasion firing several harpoons at Moby Dick. What's more, guilds can take control over entire regions, and even set up colonies.

Is it worth it?
If you look at the available online videos of clan sea battles you will see how exciting this game can be, but is it worth going through the dull beginnings? It depends only on what you're looking for. If you have a lousy computer and play it just for fun, then Seafight gives you a chance to make new acquaintances and fight against other players. However, if you are looking for something you could play on your own, this game is not for you. Another problem is the Cash Shop that gives its customers a really big advantage over others.
Ahoy!
Seafight doesn’t have impressive graphics, the game is hard to play alone, however, provides its users with really large world to explore. Open PvP is an interesting concept for fans of the genre, but an ordinary landlubber would have trouble finding the game world.
